What is an artist’s studio today, and tomorrow?. Beyond app based palettes, physical spaces remain vital for experimentation and production. Solitude for some, social and collaborative engagement for others. Studios are disappearing to other construction across London and this pattern is mirrored elsewhere. Some organisations are thriving with work space formats and communities. More are needed, and in more diverse forms. Studio settings are a life line for many kinds of practice. Cities of concrete and chrome crumble without these fruitful energies.

This new and evolving group show, curated by A M Hanson and premiering in an atrium project space during Photo Month Festival, presents lens based and mixed multi media reactive ideas, works and installations, studio scenes and dreams from this gathering of emerging and established artists, photographers and film makers.

With artists’ hosting days, studio scenarios and tours during the show run.

Preview: 3 Nov (5 – 9pm)
