I’ve updated my website with info for the upcoming exhibition at the Rickyard Gallery here
I’ve come to the end of the first year on the hated Universal Credit as “gainfully self employed”, and they’ve decided I can remain self employed, but as I’m doing a part time MA, my income has been reduced to something like £300 per month.
I’m not sure how they expect anyone to earn at least NMW, when they themselves decide not to pay artists what we should be paid.
In any case, I’ve increased the prices of the two paintings, one of which has been in the Virtual Open Exhibition for some time, but has not sold. The longer they remain unsold, the more the price increases to cover losses of income.
It would help if I could run regular (monthly) Peace Painting workshops!
