Hi Guys,

Sorry but being new I'm not sure what the protocole is? I've got a couple of images that might be suitable for the Australian tour but I wanted to check them out with you all first and see if anybody wanted to do ay further work with me on them?

We have been busy sending prints to the Graphic Studio for their show in March/April, and sending CDs of images to Veronica in Australia for selection for their show…(the deadline has been brought forward to Feb. 24th). Veronica has been enduring the heatwave in South Australia but was OK the last time she emailed. My next task is to think of something to say at the opening of the Graphic Studio exhibition. Pamela and Liam are speaking – I know Pamela speaks Irish, and suspect Liam may do so too, so I shall have to practice my Welsh ,which is a bit basic to say the least. Dydwy ddim yn ymarfer (I don't practice….) Alison

Thanks, Don – have we really not put anything on this blog since December?!

The project is still going on, and we are busy getting stuff together for the exhibition in the Graphic Studio Gallery in Dublin. The post is a bit erratic at the moment to say the least – the postman did manage to get up to my house yesterday for the first time in days, but he gave up this morning. Fortunately I met him in the village and he gave me an “express” package from Ireland with prints to sign and return for the exhibition. The opening is on March 12th. (two days before the deadline for submission of jpegs to Australia for the next show)

We had a good meeting yesterday, discussed lots* and enjoyed looking at Eirian's atmospheric & evocative etchings which almost breathe a sense of place.

*perhaps someone else will blog about this??
