Yorkshire Sculpture International research
My A-n Artist Bursary is centred around sculpture research and development using Yorkshire Sculpture International as a focus to the activity. A few highlights from the preview below, with multiple R&D visits planned over August and September including attending the symposium.
July residency at York St John University
During July I’ll be concluding my AA2A residency at York St John University with three weeks in a big space to make new work alongside fellow AA2A artist Sue Mann.
New Board Member of Royal Society of Sculptors
Delighted to have been elected to the Board of the Royal Society of Sculptors and am looking forward to my first board meeting this summer.
A-n Artist Bursary
Delighted to have received an A-n Artist Bursary which will be supporting my research and practical exploration into large scale, public and outdoor sculpture over the next six months.
CVAN NW Network Manager
Alongside my artistic practice I’ll also be working as the CVAN (Contemporary Visual Arts Network) North West Network Manager this year.
