Pointeso continued to cement their Sporting League championship credentials with a three goal frenzy away to plucky Olby.
Sporting Radio Pundit X: ‘I was an invited guest up in the Olby executive suite and there was a carnival atmosphere event though their team had just been outplayed. I think it was a combination of the ol’ bubbly and genuine relief that the lads didn’t concede ten. I’ll tell ya…this Pointeso side are something else. Champions Tranquilayers slipped five points behind leaders Pointeso as they were beaten by a sucker punch strike at the hands of Red Star.
Tranquilayers gaffer: ‘Not good enough. We had a hatful of chances but we didn’t convert into goals. I’m looking forward to re-grouping with the lads and adopting a next ball philosophy.’
