Champions Pointeso squandered a three goal half time lead against Novia in a highly charged fixture at Novian heights.

Sporting League: Game 5 Results

Leaders Athletico performed a ‘smash n grab’ performance with a goal at the death to deny Red Star a deserved point.

Universo Collunteen maintained their one hundred percent start with a customary home win over a deflated Green Tree.

Kite Vale continued their surprise move up into third position after coming back from three goals down to beat Yop Lane by four goals to three.

Champions Pointeso looked weary against Bolsov – managing to hold off a second half torrent of blows reigning in on their goalmouth. Final score 2- 1 to the champions.

The Sporting League: Game 4

Athletico continued their early statement of intent to stay top with an assured two goals to nil win over Lunderbach.

Athletico boss: We need to keep up the early pressure and keep our heads. I’m still consulting with the board to see if we can get ourselves a solid centre half.’

Universo Collunteen made hard work of their two goals to one away win over Sporting Athlete.

Sporting Radio Pundit X: ‘I was expecting a bit more quality from the Universo, but they won’t care as they put another three points on the board.’

Green Tree found champions Pointeso in relentless form as the woodsmen felt the axe to the tune of four conceded goals on home turf.
